Conference Policies 

  1. Time zone followed by the conference is IST (Indian Standard Time)  

  2. If applying as a chairperson , you must have atleast 6 MUNs of experience

  3. Delegates and chairpeople from every diverse country is accepted

  4. The mode of the conference is online 

  5. School Delegations must have at least 4 students and 1 faculty advisor to be eligible to attend

  6. Custom applications are open for public speakers for our leadership event , just mail the conference email if interested

  7. For the this edition , the conference has a minimal cost to ensure delegate participation . 95% of the proceedings (excluding transaction fee and tax) will be utilized for building libraries for underpriviliged schools and organizations in Mumbai , India and 5% of the proceedings will be used for utility charges such as Online Meet and Email Subscription (We would love to see cooperation from both ends) 

  8. Donation channels are open too! 

  9. At the end of the conference , each delegate will be provided with a letter of recommendation and a certificate , provided they attend atleast 5 out of the 7 committee sessions

  10. All directors will be provided with a letter of recommendation and a certificate provided they attend at least 50% of the committee sessions 

  11. This conference completely prohibits any type of cyber crime

  12. Any delegate or Chairperson found performing verbal harassment or personal bullying will be immediately disqualified from the awards and the conference itself

  13. The word of the Secretary-General is final and binding

  14. No racial or ethnic discrimination is accepted at this conference 

  15. Delegates will be provided with Cash Prizes as per their committee , all cash prize values are updated on our website and are subject to change.

  16. The YTMUN Team must be informed 100 hours prior to the conference of the absence of a delegate (50% of the total fee paid will be refunded)

Payment/Refund Policy 

 

  • Payment Deadline: Registrants must complete payment by a specified deadline to secure their spot at the conference. This deadline will be clearly communicated upon registration.

  • Refund Eligibility: Refunds will be issued under specific conditions, such as:

    • Cancellation: If a registrant cancels their participation before a certain date (e.g., two weeks before the conference), they are eligible for a 50% refund.

    • Unforeseen Circumstances: Refunds may be considered in cases of documented medical emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances preventing attendance.

    • Disqualification : If the participant is disqualified due to harassment or violation of conference policies , no refund will be provided 

  • Refund Process: To request a refund, registrants must formally notify the conference organizers via email : financials.ytmunconference@gmail.com or the request must include relevant details and documentation where applicable.

  • Refund Timeline: Refunds will be processed within a defined timeframe (e.g., within 30 days of receiving the refund request). This timeline ensures transparency and clarity for participants.

  • Non-Refundable Fees: Certain fees, such as administrative or processing fees, may be non-refundable regardless of cancellation timing. This will be clearly stated in the payment/refund policy to avoid misunderstandings.
